I am a dog sitter and my clients LOVE these fun puzzle balls! Of course, not every dog loves every toy, so you have to take your own pup's preferences into consideration. I've been using these for about 3 months now and no one has destroyed them yet, though if you know you have an extreme chewer I would stay away, these are pretty average quality. I like them because they keep the pups entertained for long enough that I can sit down at my computer for 5 minutes. For the price, I would recommend!
I bought these to give my dog something to do while I'm stuck at home. I have a bunch of different food toys and like to rotate through them to exercise her brain in different ways. This one is great because it doesn't require a ton of food but takes her a little bit of time to work through. It's about the size of a baseball, and I love that I got two of them. Very easy to clean by running under water. I also throw them in the dishwasher if needed. My dog is a little shark but so far she hasn't chewed this toy up or ripped anything off of it other than the treats!
I just received these a day ago. I put my dogs dog food (small breed size) in between the teeth. The kibble stays in between the teeth of the ball really well. I was worried it would just all fall out, but it is holding up to my 13 lb chihuahua running arround with it and chewing on it. He is able to get kibble out like the ball is intended. He isnt a ball dog so I didnt think he would really play/chew on this, but to my surprise he is. He will chew it for awhile and then come back to it. He carries it to his bed and will chew on it. It is keeping him occupied which I am thankful for. So far so good. I ordered a couple more for my nephew and sisters dogs. Once he gets bored of it I will put a treat in between the teeth along with his kibble to give him variety. Great price. Im not sure how durable it is, he has only had it for a day. But based on one day I can say no ball teeth are missing.
This ball kept my pit bull occupied until she had released every single treat. She is a hard chewer and only managed to rip off a couple of the rubber teeth in the process. My terrier mix was baffled by the ball, however, and fled for his split elk antler. To each their own, but I would recommend this product.
I squirt Kong filling or smear mashed bananas in the grooves. They love it as a treat and it keeps them entertained for a while.
