We love Takoyaki, so we bought this and so happy we did. Since we can cook it ourselves we control the portion sizes and level of browning, the result is Takoyaki that is even better than restaurants and much better than in bento boxes. We plan to explore other Takoyaki fillings (Shrimp, Ham/Cheese, Sausage, Edamame, Corn, Jalapeno's, etc.)

I have always had the stove top version of a takoyaki pan that was heavy and made of cast iron. While I loved that pan in college due to the round burners I had, my new apartment did not have the same set up. Most of my takoyaki ended up being burnt or unevenly cooked. Then comes this nonstick takoyaki pan!
It's lightweight, easy to use, and cooks the takoyaki very evenly! While I wish I could be able to adjust the heat (definite benefit to my old pan), I really enjoy making takoyaki in this new pan.
I had never heard of takoyaki before but this looked like something I could make some nice appetizers with. I have used it to make macaroni and cheese balls and they came out great. This is easy to use and clean up is easy also. It’s easy to store away.
This was the first time I'd ever used a Takoyaki Maker. I was a bit worried it would be difficult to use but it was very easy. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. Very easy to clean and lightweight. If you are looking for a Takoyaki Maker then I highly recommend this.
